Today’s episode opens with Pari asking Rahi how the saree looks. She proudly says she designed it herself by gathering and stitching it creatively. Rahi praises the saree and asks why she put in so much effort. Pari hints that something is happening at home but reminds Rahi that tomorrow is Anupama’s birthday. She asks if Rahi forgot. Rahi says no and shows the handmade card she prepared for Anupama, saying Anupama will love it. Pari says that despite all the tensions at home, they must not forget to celebrate Anupama’s birthday. Rahi agrees and shares that Prem is also planning a surprise. Pari adds that even Vasundhara was saying she misses Anupama.
Anupama dreams that Anuj wishes her a happy birthday and says I love you. In her sleep she murmurs that she loves him too and says he knows that until he wishes her she will not open her eyes. She says she misses him and recalls her beautiful moments with him.
Suddenly she receives a call from Ansh informing her that he has taken Prarthana to the hospital.
Anupama rushes to the hospital. Ansh hugs her tightly and breaks down. She asks him why he is so worried when he knew this day would come. She says this is a moment of happiness. Ansh explains that Prarthana is in pain and he feels helpless. Anupama consoles him and tells him that feeling helpless is natural when someone you love is in pain. She asks him to calm down.
The doctor soon comes out and informs them that both Prarthana and the baby are safe. She congratulates them and announces that Prarthana has given birth to a baby girl. Everyone becomes very happy and celebrates the news. Vasundhara says such a big happiness has come into the house so celebrating is natural. The doctor asks them to celebrate softly and says Prarthana will soon be shifted to her room.
Rahi suddenly realizes something and tells everyone that the baby was born on Anupama’s birthday. Everyone feels even happier hearing this. Prem and Rahi wish Anupama a happy birthday. Ansh hugs her and says he feels blessed that his daughter will share her birthday with her. Parag and Khyati also wish her. Anupama thanks them but says that today belongs to Prarthana and the baby.
Anupama then takes Vasundhara’s blessings and says that from now on every year on her birthday she will pray for Prarthana’s baby. Vasundhara taunts her and says she will pray that the baby’s destiny is not like Anupama’s because the baby belongs to the Kothari family. Anupama feels hurt but stays silent.
Later Anupama thanks God for giving such a beautiful gift on her birthday. She prays that the baby’s arrival brings happiness and positive change to the Kothari family.
When Anupama meets Prarthana, she congratulates her. Prarthana says it is the baby’s first day in the world. Anupama smiles and says it is Prarthana’s first day too because along with the birth of a child a mother is also born.
The family members start sharing their experiences of becoming parents. They talk about the happiness and responsibility that comes with a newborn. Anupama says raising a child is not just a mother’s job but the support of the whole family is important.
Soon everyone starts arguing about who will hold the baby first. Vasundhara says she should hold the baby first because elders bring good impressions to the child. Rahi, Prem and Parag also jokingly say they want to hold the baby first. Anupama stops everyone and says the first right belongs to the parents, Ansh and Prarthana.
Just then the nurse arrives with the baby but slips and almost drops her. Anupama quickly saves the baby and holds her safely in her arms. Everyone feels relieved. Ansh happily says Anupama held the baby first without even trying. He wishes that the baby grows up to be like her. Vasundhara, however, does not look pleased.
Anupama lovingly gives the baby to Ansh and Prarthana and encourages them to take responsibility as parents.
Meanwhile Gautam sees his daughter and becomes emotional. Anupama notices him and asks Ansh to let Gautam hold the baby once. Gautam holds the baby but she starts crying. Vasundhara taunts that the baby already knows who her real father is. Gautam is left shocked and hurt.
Later Vasundhara tells Anupama that Prem loves the baby so much and if he loves someone else’s baby this much imagine how much he will love his own child. She asks Anupama to make Rahi understand and start planning a family instead of only focusing on studies.
Anupama calmly replies that they cannot force Rahi and Prem. Having a child is a big responsibility and they should take the decision when they feel ready.
Precap: The family celebrates Anupama’s birthday with dancing and happiness. But a shocking moment follows when Prarthana suddenly jumps from the terrace with the baby in her arms, leaving Anupama and everyone stunned.
