Uttam Nagar Holi Clash: 14 Arrested in Tarun Bhutolia Murder Case
Delhi Police have arrested seven more people, including three women, in connection with the murder of 26-year-old Tarun Bhutolia, who was killed during Holi celebrations in Uttam Nagar on March 4, 2026. Along with them, a 14-year-old minor has also been taken into custody.
Earlier on Sunday (March 8), the police had arrested the eighth accused, 38-year-old Imran alias Bunty, from his Uttam Nagar residence.
With the latest arrests, a total of 14 people and two minors are now in police custody. The recently arrested include:
- Sayra (40)
- Sareefan (50)
- Salma (36)
- Suhail (21)
- Sameer (20)
- Firoj (22)
- Ismile (50)
All are residents of JJ Colony, Haststal Road, Uttam Nagar.
Background of the Incident
The tragic event started over a water balloon dispute. A girl threw a balloon that accidentally hit a woman, which escalated into a clash between families on the street. In the chaos, Tarun Bhutolia was killed.
In addition, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has demolished illegal portions of a house linked to the accused.
