Yami Gautam will reportedly make a special cameo in Aditya Dhar’s upcoming espionage thriller Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role. Interestingly, reports suggest her appearance could connect the story of Uri: The Surgical Strike with the expanding Dhurandhar universe.

According to a Box Office Worldwide report, the makers placed Yami Gautam’s cameo at a crucial point in the film. Additionally, the report claims the scene will take place in a hospital setting. However, the filmmakers have not officially confirmed this information yet.

Therefore, her cameo could become an important turning point in the story.

Possible Link With ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’

Earlier, several reports suggested that Yami Gautam might reprise her role from Uri: The Surgical Strike. In that film, she played an intelligence officer who worked closely with the Indian armed forces.

However, the makers have kept the details about her role completely secret so far.

Rumours About Vicky Kaushal’s Cameo

Meanwhile, rumours have also surfaced about Vicky Kaushal possibly appearing in the sequel. He played Major Vihaan Shergill in Uri. Interestingly, the speculation started after the post-credit scene of Dhurandhar revealed that Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza is actually Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

Notably, in Uri, Kriti Kulhari’s character mentioned that her husband with the same name had been martyred. Because of this, many fans believe the two stories might be connected.

Earlier this year, a Mid-Day report claimed that Vicky Kaushal had already filmed his cameo. Furthermore, the report stated that Aditya Dhar plans to expand the Dhurandhar cinematic universe.

However, another report from Bollywood Hungama later dismissed these claims. Instead, it stated that Vicky Kaushal is not part of the sequel.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge features a strong ensemble cast. Along with Ranveer Singh, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Akshaye Khanna, and Sara Arjun.

Finally, the film serves as the sequel to the 2025 hit Dhurandhar and continues the high-stakes espionage storyline.

The makers plan to release the movie in theatres on March 19, 2026.
