Ram Kapoor to Return to Dubai Amid Tensions: “I Have No Choice”

Actor Ram Kapoor has confirmed that he will soon return to Dubai to complete important pending work, even as tensions continue in West Asia.

Ram shared that he had recently cut short his Dubai trip with his wife Gautami due to the situation. Initially, he planned to wait in Mumbai until things improved. However, with no clear timeline for normalcy, he now feels there is no option but to travel back.

He explained that the delay is affecting ongoing work at his home in the iconic Burj Khalifa. According to him, permissions for the work had already been granted and the project must be completed within a fixed timeframe.

“I thought I would wait for things to calm down, but now I don’t have a choice. The situation may take months or even longer. I cannot delay any further,” Ram said.

Work Commitments Force Urgent Travel

The actor revealed that while he could request an extension, the uncertainty around the situation makes it difficult to rely on that option. Instead, he plans to continue work and try to complete everything as per the original schedule.

He also mentioned that life in Dubai is still continuing in a controlled manner, and people there are managing despite the circumstances.

Gautami Kapoor Will Not Travel This Time

Ram Kapoor confirmed that his wife Gautami Kapoor will not be accompanying him on this trip. He will be travelling alone and expects to stay in Dubai for a couple of weeks.

While his family is naturally concerned, he shared that his children understand the situation and remain calm after talking to him. Gautami, though worried, supports his decision as the work is important.

Safety Not a Major Concern

Addressing safety concerns, Ram stated that Dubai remains highly organized and well-prepared. He emphasized that his residence in Burj Khalifa is among the most secure locations in the country.

“It’s not an ideal situation, but I am not panicking. Dubai is capable of ensuring safety,” he added.
