Bhoot Bangla Box Office Collection Day 6 LIVE: The horror-comedy continues its strong run, crossing ₹120 crore and reaching a global total of ₹127.37 crore so far.
Bhoot Bangla Box Office Collection Day 6 LIVE: Akshay Kumar’s Film Stays Strong at ₹127.37 Cr Worldwide
Despite receiving mixed reviews, Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla continues to perform steadily at the box office. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film has already crossed the ₹120 crore mark globally and now stands at an impressive ₹127.37 crore worldwide gross.
Steady Growth at the Domestic Box Office
On Day 6 (Wednesday), the film collected ₹6.80 crore in India, taking its total domestic nett collection to ₹89.45 crore. The numbers, shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, highlight the film’s consistent hold at the box office despite tough competition and mixed word-of-mouth.
Better Performance Than Recent Releases
Interestingly, Bhoot Bangla is performing better than some of Akshay Kumar’s recent films. It has outpaced the daily collections of Jolly LLB 3, which earned ₹5.5 crore and ₹6.5 crore on its first Monday and Tuesday. In comparison, Bhoot Bangla managed ₹6.75 crore and ₹8 crore on the same days, showing stronger audience interest.
The film now seems poised to surpass the lifetime collections of Kesari Chapter 2 (₹145.01 crore) and Sky Force (₹150.01 crore) worldwide if the current momentum continues.
Can It Beat Bigger Hits?
While the film is on a solid trajectory, the bigger question is whether it can cross the lifetime collections of Akshay Kumar’s major hits like Jolly LLB (₹171.64 crore) and Housefull 5 (₹288.67 crore). The coming days will be crucial in determining its long-term box office success.
Strong Cast and Production Backing
Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film features a talented ensemble including Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Jisshu Sengupta, and Rajpal Yadav in key roles.
The movie is jointly produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor under the banners of Balaji Telefilms and Cape of Good Films.
Final Verdict
With steady collections and improving word-of-mouth, Bhoot Bangla is proving to be a much-needed success for Akshay Kumar. If the film maintains its pace, it could soon join the list of his higher-grossing films and potentially exceed expectations.
